Design and Construction of Underground Space Formed by Jacking Multiple Adjacent Rectangular Pipes

Abstract:

Yuexiuxinghuiyunjin underground commercial space is formed by pipe jacking method. In the paper, the special design of the project, including the special design of the working shafts, the design of the superlong pipes, the design of the anchoring cables to prevent the lateral displacement of the pipes, the design of the freezing and opening operation under complex geological conditions, and the design of the foundation reinforcement from inside the jacked pipes,are presented. In the end, good construction effect has been achieved, which demonstrates that the pipe jacking method adopted is feasible. 
