Technology for Supporting Consisting of Systematic Bolts and Steel Arches  Applied in Construction of Ingate and Junction Section between  Ventilation Tunnel and Main Body of Metro Station

Abstract:

In the construction of Yan’ansanlu station of Phase I project (Line 3) of Qingdao Metro, the construction duration would be prolonged, some support measures would be difficult to be realized and safety risks would exist in the following construction, if the ingate and the junction section between the ventilation tunnel and the main body of the Metro station were built in accordance with the original design. Therefore, the original design of the construction of the ingate and the junction section between the ventilation tunnel and the main body of the Metro station is optimized, a new support pattern consisting of systematic bolts and steel arches is proposed. The new support pattern proposed has been successfully applied in the construction of the Metro station mentioned. Furthermore, modification is proposed for the support pattern consisting of systematic bolts and steel arches so as to provide a new support concept for the construction of similar works and tunnels.
