Abstract:
Due to the complexity in the foundation treatment, towing transportation, immersing, locking and backfilling in the construction of immersed tunnels, there is great difficulty in the risk management in the construction of immersed tunnels. In the paper, the risk management in the offshore towing and installation of the tubes of the immersed tunnel of Hong KongZhuhaiMacau Bridge Project is studied. Firstly, some immersed tunnel cases abroad and at home are investigated, and the features of the immersed tunnel of Hong KongZhuhaiMacau Bridge Project is summarized; Secondly, risk matrix method is applied in the management of the risks in the offshore towing and installation of the tubes of the immersed tunnel of Hong KongZhuhaiMacau Bridge Project, and the major construction steps with risks are analyzed. In the end, good risk control effect has been achieved.
