Steel Sleeve Receiving Technology for EPB Shield Boring in Waterrich Sandycobble Strata

Abstract:

The receiving of earth pressure balance (EPB) shield is the key to shield tunneling with high risk. It is very important to study the shield receiving without consolidation of receiving end in waterrich sandycobble strata. The shield receiving technologies, fiberglass steel underground diaphragm + steel sleeve, for EPB shield boring in waterrich sandycobble strata of Huangxing Square Station on Changsha Metro Line No. 1 without receiving end consolidation are analyzed. The results can proviole reference for similar projects in the future.
