Shield Type Selection for Urban Metro and  Regionalization Study of Key Parameters

Abstract:

The study of methods and differences of shield type selection in different areas in urban metro construction is of great significance. Hence, the shield type selection and key parameters in 30 sections in 16 cities from 2008 to 2017 are statistically analyzed, including shield types, main shield length, cutterhead structure, cutterhead diameter, cutterhead opening, torque, thrust, etc. And then the difference and regularity between related parameters and strata and among the related parameters are analyzed. Finally, [JP+2]the conclusions are used to evaluate the shield type and key parameters in Civil Bid 1 of Chengdu Metro Line 18, and the evaluation results show that the shield type selection is rational. The results can provide new ideas for shield type selection and evaluation of similar projects in the future.
