Ventilation Technology for No.2 inclined shaft of Sanlian Tunnel

Abstract:

Ventilation is vital technology for long tunnel construction, and efficient and energy conservation ventilation scheme can guarantee safely tunneling and cost saving. The experiences of No.2 inclined shaft ventilation scheme of Sanlian tunnel is summarized in this paper, via the analysis of required ventilation volume, ventilation system design before and after shaft ventilation, ventilation equipment, and tunnel construction practices. The summarized results are helpful for similar projects construction in the future. 
