Abstract:
The station spacing of urban rail rapid transit line is usually much larger than that of conventional metro, and the breakdown rescue model and rescue speed of conventional metro for long tunnel section may lead to long rescue period. In order to improve the efficiency of breakdown rescue in long tunnel section of urban rail rapid transit line, the first 160 km/h urban rail rapid transit line in Guangzhou is taken as an example; the rescue speed of urban rail rapid transit line is analyzed and two schemes of setting up crossover line and vehicle parking line are designed based on analyzing the conventional metro rescue process, rescue speed and time consumption; a comprehensive selection is made on the key indices such as the rescue time consumption and the subsequent train evacuation efficiency. Finally, different vehicle parking lines are proposed and compared. The study results show that the setting up vehicle parking line in long tunnel is good for rescue; and it is recommended to be adopted in priority when it is allowable. Meanwhile, different types of vehicle parking lines have advantages and disadvantages; it should be selected according to the actual situation such as operation functions and project scales.
Key words: urban rail rapid transit line, long tunnel, breakdown rescue, vehicle parking line
