Abstract:

The construction techniques and procedures of the lining of Datai vertical shaft of Wushaoling tunnel are presented in the paper. The composition of the concrete delivery pipes for the lining construction of the deep shaft is described in detail. The processes of the pipeline wearing, pipeline blockage and concrete segregation that occur during the over 500m vertical delivery of the concrete are described, analysis is made on the causes of the accidents and prevention and treatment measures are proposed. It is emphasized that the safe and rapid construction of the vertical shaft can only be achieved by means of strict construction management.
