Abstract

Abstract:

The thixotropic slurry plays an important role in pipe jacking. The influence of raw materials content on performance of thixotropic slurry is studied, so as to learn the influencing rules of raw materials, control ground settlement and minimize the resistance. The mixing proportions of thixotropic slurry used in pipe jacking of shield tunnel crossing underneath Zhongzhou Road in Zhengzhou are decided. The practice shows that good effects have been achieved.
