Abstract:

In order to improve the blasting effect and driving speed during the construction of Zhongnanshan superlong highway tunnel through Qinling mountain in Shanxi, China, largearea deephole wedge cutting blasting technology is used on basis of the traditional wedge cutting blasting technology and satisfactory results are achieved. The article presents the largearea deephole wedge cutting blasting technology applied in the construction of the highway tunnel.
