Abstract:

The reliability of the lining structure of Xiang’an subsea tunnel in Xiamen is analyzed by means of loadstructure method. Finite element analysis is performed to calculate the structural samples, whose mechanical variables are sampled by Latin Hypercube Sampling Technique (LHST), and a set of response variables are obtained. The distribution characteristics of the variables are obtained by statistically analyzing on the response variables. The sensitivity analysis on the random variables shows that the variations of the the cover depth, water head, elastic resistance coefficient of the surrounding rocks, elastic modulus of lining concrete and the lateral pressure coefficient of the surrounding rocks have obvious influence on the maximum bending moment of the lining strucuture. The cover depth is the factor that has the greatest influence on the maximum bending moment, while the water head is the factor that has the second greatest influence on the maximum bending moment. The reliability of the lining structure of Xiang’an subsea tunnel is analyzed by means of Monte Carlo method, which shows that the lining structure is safe and reliable.
