Abstract:
There are lots of existing deep anchoring cables in the scope of HuiMin shieldbored tunnel on Line 1 of Zhengzhou Metro. These anchoring cables should be removed before shield arrives, otherwise they may have severe impact on the shield boring. In the paper, comparison and contrast is made among three anchoring cable removing technologies, i.e., removing the anchoring cables from opencut foundation pit, removing the anchoring cables from mined tunnel and removing the anchoring cables from cut holes, in terms of construction period and cost. In the end, the technology of removing the anchoring cables from cut holes is adopted. The details of the technology of removing the anchoring cables from cut holes are presented.
