Abstract:
Honggu immersed tunnel in Nanchang, China is 1 329 m long. The immersed tunnel consists of 12 tube elements. The standard tube element is 114.85 m long, 8.3 m high and 26 000 t weight. The tube elements should be floated, transported and sunk in the water rich season. Furthermore, the prefabrication schedule of the tube elements is tight and the equipment for the 2 independent subdocks needs to be shared to the maximum extent. In the paper, the concrete mixing, concrete transportation, concrete casting, temperature control and formwork system and hoisting equipment related to the prefabrication of the tube elements are summarized, so as to improve the working efficiency of the main construction steps and to ensure the construction quality of critical positions. In the end, good effect has been achieved. The engineering practice shows that the technologies adopted for the type selection and matching of the equipment for the tube element fabrication of Honggu immersed tunnel is feasible and rational.
