Exploration and Application of Green and LowCarbon Technology of Xian Rail Transit

Abstract:  To implement the national "Carbon Peak and Neutral" strategic goal, the problems and the status of network operation energy consumption in the green and lowcarbon development of Xian rail transit are summarized, the application measures of lowcarbon technology are forwarded and analyzed. In view of the main links in the process of urban rail transit planning and design, engineering construction, and operation management, the corresponding energy saving and lowcarbon emission reduction measures are systematically proposed from the aspects of planning design and operation management, lowcarbon application of operating vehicles, lowcarbon emission reduction of station system, resource sharing of largescale land and energysaving and emission reduction of equipment. As well, the application prospect of green and lowcarbon technologies applied in the field of urban rail transit is presented. Based on the current situation and future development of urban rail transit, the toplevel planning and design, the mature experience of the industry, and the application results, a green and lowcarbon method is explored for Xian urban rail transit, which can promote the application of green lowcarbon technology and green transformation, and guide and construct an intelligent, green, and sustainable urban rail transit.
