Abstract:
In order to further enhance the transportation capacity and meet the construction ventilation requirements of the inclined shafts of Xiangshan tunnel, the inclined shafts are optimized as follows: the crosssection of No. 1 and No.5 inclined shafs are optimized from 1 lane plus truckmeeting belts into 2 lanes; the gradient of No. 2 inclined shaft is optimized into 22 degree and the length of No. 2 inclined shaft is optimized into 507.98m; the crosssections of No. 3 and No. 4 inclined shafts are optimized from 3 lanes into 4 lanes; No. 5 inclined shaft is optimized to be located on the right side of the tunnel route and is connected to the tunnel route at YDK34+800 with an angle of 42°38′35″, with the gradient of No. 5 inclined shaft being optimized into 9.2%, the length being optimized into 327.5m and the crosssection being optimized into twintrack crosssection. Due to the optimization of these construction adits, the site resources are better utilized and the construction progress is improved. The experience gained in the project is worth to be promoted in similar projects.
