Abstract:

MohrCoulomb model and modified CamClay model are used to simulate the ground displacement induced by shield tunneling, with the ground loss ratio as the control parameter, so as to reveal the differences between the calculation results on basis of these two models. In the paper, the differences between the calculation results on basis of these two models are analyzed. Furthermore, the calculation results on basis of these two models are compared with those on basis of Peck formula and the measured data. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The maximum settlement at the tunnel center line calculated on basis of MohrCoulomb model is larger than that calculated on basis of Peck formula and the measured data. The calculated displacement far away from the tunnel center line displays rebound property. 2) The maximum settlement calculated on basis of modified CamClay model agrees with that calculated on basis of Peck formula and the measured data, but the width of the settlement trough calculated is slightly larger.
