Study of Key Construction Technologies of Open TBM in Complex Geological Conditions: Case Study of Gaoligongshan Tunnel

Abstract:

The geological conditions of Gaoligongshan Tunnel are extremely complex. The high geothermy, high ground stress, fault fractured zones and water gushing with high pressure are the key control factors for safe TBM construction. After carrying out data investigation, TBM cases study in China and abroad, expert consultation and TBM design, a series of technologies, i.e. advance geological prediction, rebar row + steel arch frame + shotcrete support and rational boring parameters, are adopted so as to guarantee continuous TBM construction. The study results can provide theoretical guidance for further TBM construction.
