Research on Optimization of Design of TBM Disassembling Cavern and Hoisting System

Abstract:

The TBM disassembling cavern is usually located in tunnel with large crosssection; and it has overhead traveling crane. The construction of large crosssection TBM disassembling cavern is difficult; the construction schedule is long and the construction cost is high. In order to shorten the construction schedule of TBM disassembling cavern and reduce the TBM disassembling time, a more adaptable hoisting system of electric hoist + inverted chain is developed in the TBM disassembling of Zhongtianshan Tunnel on the second line of TurpanKorla section of Nanjiang Railway. The anchor bolt is set on tunnel crown top so as to fasten the guide rail and independent hoisting points. The optimized type and size of crosssection structure of TBM disassembling cavern are decided by comparison between original design scheme and optimized scheme. The area of optimized crosssection of TBM disassembling cavern is reduced by 1/3; and the rapid TBM disassembling is reached.
