Abstract:
According to the planning, No. 8 Line of Wuhan Metro should be extended to OCT. As a result, a “Y”shaped Metro line is designed, with Liyuan station as the transfer station between the main line and the OCT branch line. In this paper, the transfer schemes between Liyuan station and OCT branch line are studied on basis of three station types, i.e, separatefloor island station, oneisland and onesideplatform station and twoisland station, and by analyzing such factors as the train operation organization mode, the station scale, the transfer efficiency, the construction cost, the influence on Dong Lake scenic area, the traffic evacuation and the construction risk. Conclusion is drawn that the transfer scheme based on oneisland and onesideplatform station can meet the requirements of the coverage rate and development of the Metro line. The paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
