Abstract:

Xi’an Road Station is a parallel overlapping transfer station between line 1 and line 2 of Dalian Metro. The arrangement of staircases and escalators and the evacuation of passengers in the public area of parallel overlapping transfer stations are analyzed in order to reduce the influence of staircases and escalators on the public areas. Three transfer arrangements in the main public area are analyzed and a proper arrangement plan is selected.
